*In Ashland County, A Dog License MUST be purchased within 30 days of acquiring any dog(s).

As required by Section 955.01 of the Ohio Revised Code, All 2008 Dog Licenses will go on sale at the Auditor's office and the Ashland County Dog Shelter from December 3, 2007 through January 31, 2008.

Reminder cards are sent to all previously registered dog owners who purchased licenses in 2007. The current fee is $14.00 per dog and $70.00 per kennel. Please note that Kennel Licenses are only sold at the Ashland County Dog Shelter.

Those people desiring to mail the cards or printable sheets to the Auditor's office to secure a license may continue to do so by sending the required information along with the $14.00 fee for each dog to the address below:
