Welcome to the Ashland County Dog Shelter's home on the Internet!
*In Ashland County, A Dog License MUST be purchased within 30 days of acquiring any dog(s).

Fees for adoption:
Altered Dog $100.00
RICI Trained Dogs $100.00

This fee includes:
Dog License, 1st set of shots, bordatella shot (kennel cough), Microchip, leash, & collar

Redemption Fee*: $30.00

*A $6.00 per day boarding fee will also be charged in addition to the redemption fee.
The boarding fee will be assessed daily, including weekends and holidays.

Drop off Fees:
$10.00
Litters ~ $35.00

Dog License Sales:
2013 Dog Licenses go on sale December 1, 2012 and will be sold through
January 31, 2013.
Cost is $14.00 per dog and $70.00 per kennel.

Kennel licenses are only available at the Ashland County Dog Shelter.

Penalties assessed after the deadline (February 1, 2013) are 100% of the cost of the license
or $14.00 additional for each dog and $70.00 additional for kennel licenses.

The following is a list of items requested by the shelter:
Puppy Food, Dog Snacks, Dryer Sheets, Clorox, and Laundry Detergent.
Financial donations are also accepted and are tax deductible as an itemized deduction on Schedule A of Form 1040.
