Services Provided by Facility:

1. We provide assistance or supervision in activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, skin care, oral care, nail care, dressing, toileting, and minimal assistance with ambulation.
2. Observation of vital signs.
3. We assist all residents with medication regardless if it is topical, oral, or injection.
4. We apply simple dressings and give routine care.
5. We provide personal supervision and protection from environmental and other hazards for individuals.
6. Our dietitian modifies regular meals for low cholesterol, diabetic, and no added salt diets.
7. We provide 3 meals a day plus a bedtime snack.
8. We have an activity director. Hours are 8:00am - 4:00pm weekdays.
9. We provide transportation for planned activities for the facility.
10. We have weekly Bible studies available.
11. We provide laundry services.
12. Television hook up is free.
13. Resident council meets monthly.
14. Quality assurance committee meets monthly.

Professional Services Available at Facility:

1. We have available pharmaceutical services by provision through Family Medical Services of Shelby, Ohio.
2. We have available in-house podiatrist services.
3. We have available lab services through Knox Community Hospital.
4. We provide a medial director, who is also our house physician, for assurance of quality medical care to our residents.
5. We have licensed practical nurses on duty.

Other Services Available:

1. In room phone hook up at resident's expense.
2. May have a pet if resident is able to care for it. Must have updated record of vaccinations, etc.
3. May bring room furnishings from home or Heartland Home will provide a bed, chair, and/or nightstand.
