Cole F. Oberli, Assistant Prosecuting Attorney
Cole was born and raised in Wadsworth, but he has familial ties to Ashland. Cole was a graduate of Wadsworth High School in 2009. In 2013, Cole graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University where he majored in international studies. Mr. Oberli received his Juris Doctorate from University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2017. He then became a licensed Ohio attorney in May 2018 and started his career as an Ashland County Prosecutor.
Tony L. Shambaugh, Investigator
Tony graduated from Ashland University in 2006, with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. Tony was a member of the National Honors Society in Criminal Justice. Tony joined the Ashland County Prosecutor's Office in 2007. His primary responsibilities are reviewing investigations pertaining to juveniles. Tony aids prosecutors with trial preparations. Additionally, Tony handles similar duties in adult felony cases. Tony and his wife have two children.
