Debt Collection

If your debt has been turned over to the Ohio Attorney General's Office for collection, you may pay by:

Calling the Attorney General's Collection Enforcement Section at 888-871-8838.

The automated system is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. To speak to an account representative, call between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. If you want an email to be sent immediately after making your payment due to legal hold, please speak to an account representative.

If you pay at a region office, you must pay with a credit card, certified check, or money order if you want to obtain a lien or legal hold release. No other form of payment will be accepted.
