Kim Mager, Investigator

Kim Mager retired from the Ashland Police Division as a detective in June of 2022 and joined the Prosecutor’s Office the next day.  She is a graduate of Ashland University and holds a law enforcement commission through the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office. She has 32 years of law enforcement experience.

Kim lives in Ashland County with her husband, Dan, as well as their children.  When not at work, Kim spends her time enjoying the outdoors, volunteering, watching her kids’ sports, and being a mom.

Alissa Schmidt, Investigator

Alissa joined the Ashland County Prosecutor’s Office in January 2023.  Alissa’s responsibilities include preparing legal pleadings and administrative functions for Juvenile Delinquencies, Children Services Division, Civil matters, and other duties as assigned.  Alissa graduated from Tiffin University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Criminal Justice.  Alissa lives in Ashland with her husband, Chris and their 2 children.
